Opinion In The Middle of Fires, Trump Blames California, Threatens to Cut Federal Funding

Really stupid thing to say right now. Offer condolences etc. Once the fires stop, do an investigation. Then post something like this. Ill placed comment.

At this desperate time, we would encourage the president to offer support in word and deed, instead of recrimination and blame."

This Brian Rice is WRONG. Trump is attacking the governing body and mismanagement in California, not the servicemen, not the innocent victims, California's shit tier government. Trying to turn this and skew this the other way is sick and a hack job. Fuck this virtue signaling pile of shit.
 
I’ll check this thread tomorrow, I am a career firefighter who moved into fire management if anyone has specific questions. This thread topic has more or less come up on the WR in the past. There is a hell of a lot of misinformation and ignorance around fire management.

Has nothing to do with feelings. He’s blaming California for federal property burning down and threatening to cut California funding for it. On top of that the other areas burning aren’t even forest fires so he’s wrong on both accounts. He has no idea what he’s talking about.

The fires at present aren’t even forests

The “governing body” in ca. Has fuck all to do with these fires.

I remember when Hillary blamed Bush for wildfires in California and it barely made the news. And he wasn't in charge of the forest service. Trump is putting it on the people who are paid to deal with this.

This is the only thing I agree with.

He can bring Politics in the conversation AFTER the condolences and sympathies are meted out.
