In shogun vs Nog, how did shogun get the takedown so easily?

I mean it seemed that every time they got into an overhook/underhook position, shogun would throw him to the mat. Usually, it takes long to get a throw from this position. How did shogun do it so fast? No doubt little nog has elite judo/wrestling skills too.

Was it just pure strength, or was it some technique I'm not seeing.

what are you basing that assumption on? Lil Nog has elite BJJ/boxing skills, he isn't much of a wrestler though.

Well, what im actually specifically for is the technique.

All I saw was shogun lift nog with his underhook and throw him to the mat. Is that all there was to it?

He was doing Judo before BJJ. Pretty sure he had a black belt in that before he started Jujit. If thats the case than Overhook/Underhook throws shouldnt be that strange to him. But, the Nogs like the ground. That being the case, people will defend the takedown halfheartedly if the ground is where they want to be.
