To bad she got stuck with Edmon, she could have become the legit goat wmma, in the hands of the right trainer.

Too late now, i'm appreciating more Ronda now that she's gone.

Ronda's trainers, managers and promoters made ronda's career by keeping her clear of Cyborg and providing enough talking points to convince dimwits that ronda could actually beat Cyborg.

It wasn't just Edmond, she was much more fat against Holm than in Strikeforce, she might have won if she had enough cardio to get a clinch (she got one and it was very dangerous).

Yeah but Edmond is like the fall guy for her.. Ronda was all about Ronda when she hit it big.. All the movies and TV appearances she bought into her own hype so much that she was neglecting things.

She had 14 pro fights and four (?) amateur fights and her trainers brought in world class sparring partners for her. ronda's standup defense sucked for the same reason that Brock's did - it was totally foreign to them and they would never get better no matter how long they trained. It's like believing that a 13 second 100 meter sprinter will run a 9.6 with the correct training.
 
Cyborg would have murdered Ronda and Ronda knew it. Instead of ish-ish she would've been eating power shots and we've all seen how Ronda responds to power shots. The delusion was/is strong on here.
 
Ronda didn't get "stuck" with Edmond, she could have trained pretty much with whomever she choose.

Ronda did what Ronda wanted to do, her egomania was her demise.

I remember years ago Shaub saying he told Ronda (when they dated) she had no business fighting Cyborg, he was right
 
Ronda was awesome. Her run was awesome and the two women who fought last nite owe her money....

That's nonsense and the opposite of what martial arts are all about.

A 13 second sprinter is limited physiologically by an abundance of slow twitch muscle fibres.

Rhonda might not have been a natural but to say she had reached the ceiling of the technique she was capable is ridiculous.

If you actually watched and valued this sport? It shouldn't have been too hard to tell just how fucked RR would be once she faced really good competition. The only question I had was how much of a beating is she going to be able to take? It turns out.... Not so much...

If you are one who truly believes RR is a better fighter than HH and Cyborg? I'm sorry. I'm going to be polite as possible but you are retarded.

ronda was limited by an inability to react with her head and hands to the visual stimulus of seeing her opponents beginning to throw a strike. She very probably was unable to get past the unpleasantness of being struck in the face. Proper striking defense requires that a fighter/boxer not fear taking some of the power of a punch and slip and roll with punches. You can't do this if you reflexively fear taking a punch to the face. The speed of her reflexes is shockingly bad - even worse than Brock Lesnar. Incidentally, if you think what I'm saying is nonsense, when Brock trained at MFS, before his UFC debut, the heavyweights there also said that he feared being struck in the face. This fear causes a fighter to turn their head away from punches - making it impossible to see and evade punches. ronda was frozen like a deer in headlights.
