Baseball was better with steroids. The race to break the homerun record saved the sport.
yes, there's a "dealer" that claims he supplied a list of players with him on it, and there's a chance that some was delivered to his wife under a prescription to her due to complications around a child.
None of Peyton's samples have tested positive and the NFL has cleared his name.
I think the reason there's an asterisk in baseball is because it's a sport based almost completely on individual numbers.
So do the Broncos have an asterisk next to their Super Bowl?
Peyton Manning did HGH, Von Miller literally tried to cheat a drug test and was caught.
And stem cell treatment.
The only people that label fighters as destructive farm animals and care about peds are the hard core fans. The majority of people watching these days may talk a bit about it but really don't give a shit. They just want to see some violence and drink beer. Us crazy mma fans that take time to write about and care about this shit are the only ones who want to blackball the entire ufc roster.
At the end of the day we make up a fairly small portion of sales for those of us who don't stream to watch our least favorite cheaters just to show up here to bitch about it later.
People will get caught, the company will make money, the world will spin. Who cares.
NFL has more rampant PED usage than any other sports league in the world.
Exactly. When someone in football gets popped for PEDs, it's unlikely to garner any headlines. It seems that in non-contact sports such as baseball and cycling, there's more concern for such things. But in contacts sports, most people really couldn't care less about PEDs.
Enforcement and backlash relating to PEDs are far harsher in MMA than they are football. Apparently TS doesn't think that football is a real sport.
not all fans do this. Let the mouth-breathers mouth-breathe bruh.
Your source is an agency that covers terrorist news? LOL
Everyone Lance Armstrong competed with was saucy as well, and from what I heard of a clip of the Joe Rogan podcast guys (who are testing clean...) have beaten his records. So no, his Tour de France victories are not irrelevant.
Sports fans in general are often not knowledgeable about PED use. MMA fans--at least on sherdog--have wised up a bit.
Check out the thread in my signature for starters TS.
I think there was less than 3 clean riders in the top 10 each of those years.
Wouldn't surprise me a bit.
Jon "Estrogen" Jones is totally out of the GOAT talk.
PED's only give a slight boost so i disagree. People need to stop over dramatizing drug use.
I think a lot of it was based on projection. He was on a path to cement his legacy up there, but he's throwing it all away.
Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa were victims of a witch hunt by the US government because Americans revered the players who held the records before they came and broke them.
Yeah I mean NFL/NBA testing is a joke.
No PEDs here, nope.
Only banned because of Congress. Barry Bonds would have gone to bat with a needle in his ass if he was allowed
