In hindsight should the UFC matched CM punk with Mike Jackson for his first fight?

I mean both trained but never had a MMA fight. Or with Jackson's Striking background would he had been dangerous as well.

It just seems this Gall guy already is beyond a 0-0 fighter

Maybe, but I wanna see punk lose so I'm fine with Mickey Gall

I think that would be more fair.
Isn't CM Punk still a white belt in BJJ?

Probably, yeah. But who knows? Mike Jackson is probably more proficient than he showed. I am also expecting Gall to wreck Punk in seconds.

I suspect that Gall might get an "injury" close to the fight and have to "pull out" so they can bring in a last minute replacement that isn't as good.

Why do you wanna see him lose? It would be crazy if he wins

Why I want to see him lose?

Cause it's ridiculous he's even allowed in the UFC.

It's appealing to the lowest common denominator. Makes the sport look bad.

Could Snoop Dogg play WR for the Raiders? Just because he's a known celebrity and he'll get more tickets sold? No of course not.

They might want a fighter with value to fight Punk in the scenario that they win. Mickey Gall might have some career upside while I doubt Mike Jackson has any. Then again, maybe Gall has very little upside too. We don't really know how good he is.
