What moments inside of the cage/ring just ruin your perception of a fighter? I can't stand cheats, and repeated cage grabbers (such as JDS in his second bout with Cain) tick me off. But the worst for me was Anderson Silva's punk-ass behavior after he illegally upkicked Okami. I understand he was filled with adrenaline, and may not have understood the rules entirely, but trying to attack an opponent while the ref is restraining you is absolutely inexcusable. Similarly, Aoki's behavior after he broke Hirota's arm was disgusting.

Spitting on an opponent, intentionally taking a cheap shot, etc definitely tarnish any fighter in my eyes. Clowning around a la Silva vs Maia is something I really don't like, but I tend to forget about that stuff quickly if it isn't characteristic.

Tim Sylvia shitting his pants on national TV pretty much changed my view of him. My opinion of him went from bad to worse, from hypothesis to fact, all in that moment.

Thank you for the only rational response this thread is likely to get.

Missed nut-shot's and missed eye-pokes that the reciever reacts to,and are clear as day not on point. I understand being hit near said area's can give the fighter the jump but it's when I see it happen more than once by said fighters or,even worse in the same fight.

Yes they are. They also selectively ignore things of they like a certain fighter. The cage grab is the funniest for me. Some people here actually advocate dq's for cage grabs. It's hilarious.

Lesnar riding Herring in the dying seconds of their fight. Until then, for some reason I though Brock had dumped all the pro wrestling acting and shenanigans and was a different man given that after his loss to Fir, apart from a little "damn, you got me" smile, he never really showed much emotion, he just took it on the chin like you would expect a professional mixed martial artist to do.

I find it hilarious people are so sensitive when they watch a blood sport like MMA.

Who are your favorite fighters? I bet i can find something they've done in cage that's just as bad as what you described in the OP.

Yeah but most mma fans pick and choose when it's ok to throw sportsmanship out of the window.

i.e. Diaz = ok. Bisping = not ok.
