Sounds like you have more brain damage than all of them combined. Matt Hughes was hit by a train ya goof!

WarMachine is a bad example to use brain damage as an excuse for being a piece of shit douche bag woman beater. The guy acted like this long before he took any damamge to the brain.

That said, i think getting life in prison for beating up a cheating whore prostitute Girlfriend was a bit harsh. 5-10yr is justified, but life is a bit much.

Reports say otherwise......He was missing for days multiple times pulled off the train tracks few times before he actually got hit. I get it also from the Jon suk it photo you are a young kid. No big deal we all used to think like little babies when we were 22 and big fans of MMA buddy. I also doubt like many other kids your age you will still be into MMA in a decade or two.

So now we are explaining all fighters bad behavior by "brain damage"?

I mean just how many cases do we need to prove the numbers are just not a coincidence.....Like saying the NFL lawsuits are all bogus. Right!!!!

I'm not saying that. I know brain damage is real. But let's not start going and diagnosing people, just because they break the law or hurt someone. Some people are just bad, brain damaged or not.

False argument. It's like saying chess makes you crazy because of Bobby Fischer. MMA attracts violent people like chess attracts brilliant sometimes borderline psychotic people. Just like chess keeps crazy people sane (most of the time), MMA keeps guys like War Machine from raping your girlfriend (or even you). I think MMA is a safe place for violent people to train and participate in a career. Nothing wrong with it IMO.

    You make alot of threads..

In which less than half are worth reading

This one is one of those threads

War Machine was an insecure man, who used violence to solve his problems instead of healing himself..add him dating a pornstar and we all know the ending

Dont give people a false excuse for what he did..brain damage was not a factor

War Machine was a cunt long before he entered the cage. Blaming his behaviour on CTE is lazy.

for what is worth, i have experimented this sort of shit in the past when i was quitting cigarettes: spent 4 days with 3-4 resting hours and in the end i was hearing mumbles and se

the problem is that, for my personal experience, there're also insecure people who enter the gym, find their way doing a contact activity but they cannot translate this new confidence to the real life and start to become aggressive and violent, as the only language they can speak with confidence is violence.
in my 25+ years in the gym i saw too many idiots doing this shit.

War Machine is what happens when you bang dudes and try to pretend you're still straight. Look into that trauma. Definite closet case lashing out.

Everybody is ascribing Tony’s behavior to CTE which may or may not be true. I, personally, believe it’s paranoid schizophrenia. Drugs can indirectly cause some of the behaviors tony exhibits in the police report but it also lines up with Paranoid schizophrenia. It’s even possible that CTE accelerated his mental illness because we’ve all seen how strange tony has been his entire career. Only time will tell but I’d bet the farm it’s some form of schizophrenia.

I haven’t read his book, but from what I’ve heard Matt wasn’t the greatest person before the train accident. Add to that some have speculated he was trying to commit suicide by train which is something that CTE is known to cause.

War Machine acts like a dude that would rape somebody (probably only women). Hector Lombard looks like he could rape men on a bad day. We all saw what Yoel Romero did to Rockhold and that was in public. I still don't expect Rockhold to ever become close to what he was after that.

I also haven't read the book, but from what I've heard Matt was never the greatest person, even before his MMA career. And your second sentence is pure speculation.

I disagree. Even I’m misunderstanding what your argument is then feel free to correct me. MMA May attract violent people but it sounds like you’re saying the majority involved are violent people. I disagree with that. If you’re saying that MMA cannot cause you to be more violent via head trauma then I would say the facts disagree with you. This is just one source but there are more studies that show the effects of “subconcussive” head trauma. If you don’t have time to read the full article, one of the examples of subconcussive trauma is a soccer header.

“Their findings are consistent with the rest of the research on subconcussive blows: the athletes who took more were at greater risk for mood and behavior problems later in life.”
