We don't know much about finances when it comes to UFC. Know why? Because of their pay. Let's get into advanced sherdog statistics 101.

If we were to average that 2.6 mil with the 34 events it comes out to 76,470 PER EVENT

Now we look at how many fights there are.

According to MMA graphs the average number of fights per card that year was 11. We all know it takes two to tango, so 11x2 = 22.

Adjusting for cancellation of Matt Brown vs Carlos Condit, a fight that was supposed to happen at UFC on Fox but was disgracefully replaced by manlets we come out to 20 fighters per card.

76,470/20 = 3,823 Per Fighter on average.

Keep in mind this is the if we averaged all fighters and had a land of commies. We all know the UFC isn't communist, so some fighters got PAID EVEN LESS.

Adjusting for todays inflation thats, $4,210.31 PER FIGHTER

HOLY SHIT DANA

That money can't keep Mike Perry afloat. That money can only afford Colby one escort. That money makes Cowboy say "i got 5-6 good ones in me". That money makes Cormier --

And people wonder why fighters are leaving for promotions that allow ad's like Bellator or Rizin. Lmao

Nah

The ufc is dying

All fighters should get a pay cut

FIghters need to unite, but they are unwilling to do so, because one of the biggest traits of being a fighter, is the core belief you will be the champion (and then make loads of money).
The ones at the top already gone through it, and now want to cash in. and the ones at the bottom don't care for the peanuts they are getting paid thinking one day it will change... unfortunately not even half will make it to the top and start making good money...

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. Big Mac! It's a good time for the great taste, McDonald's!

As someone who works in quantitative finance, i feel pretty qualified to tell you you're dumb as a brick.

How did you make it through half of that without realizing how ridiculously off you were

The rest of us didn't need your degree, or even this thread to come to that conclusion.

Perhaps a stupid question. Has there ever been study to show the correlation of more money translating to better fights/performances? Because I have a hunch it would be the opposite. Once they pay you enough just to show up taking risks becomes increasingly rare.

Dude you gotta be kidding me. I find that hard to believe.

I think you'd be actually making more at McDonalds lol.

3,823 Per Fighter on average.

And you didn't stop for a minute and think that extremely low number might be completely false? I mean, Zuffa obviously low-balled fighters and that sucks, but you can't possibly believe that this was the actual average.

Obviously you are unaware or just don’t care about Dana’s gambling budget..

Normally I'd agree with you. But if you look, there are plenty of responses after mine who think TS is onto something big.
