Can he just be honest. Telling everyone you are interested in moving up to fight Cruz but that you want to set title defense record first. He wlll never move up to fight him because hes too small, and that's OK. But I get tired of dominant champs pretending like they are really considering it when we all know they wont do it. Aldo, JJ, GSP, Silva, etc. None of them had any interest in moving up and its completely understandable. I just hate how delusional they think the fans are.

I do think he's scared of Cruz, because MM's aura may go away, but MM has a justifiable excuse in wanting to chase records. I don't blame him, either. Keep racking up near-certain victories at 125, or putting a lot on the line in going up 10 pounds and getting beat again by the only guy who's better than you around your weight-class.

I guess. I just think he should say hes not willing to move up, and that be the end of it. Because hes not willing too. He wouldnt have to give up the belt for one superfight. He could continue chasing AS record.

I'm not. He definitely has but I don't think it would make a difference. Dom has gotten better too & is still getting better. I just can't see it going differently. Except for maybe a sub for Dom.

How has Dom gotten better? What exactly has he improved in since you last saw him? He has legit fought twice since that DJ fight and has been recovering from injury for the most part of that time.
Dom is great, and has always been great. DJ has gotten 2 folds better since their last fight and I cant say the same thing about DC.

Aldo did, but the UFC didn´t accept him to keep two belts they wanted him to drop the FW title
And he actually could at that time, thing Conor will never be able to, he won´t even keep the FW belt.

MM is even small for 125lbs. So him going up would be huge. But I don't think he wants too. He knows he's too small for it. So why do it? If he can dominate 125 and get paid the same and break records for most title defenses? I'd rather do that. And he's doing exactly that. So unless it's inked for him to fight Cruz. I don't care what comes out of his mouth. He can challenge Conor for all I care.
