Like the title says, even though she lost I’m impressed with Feliz’s performance on Saturday. To be honest I had completely written her off. I thought she would get smoked in the standup but she kept it fairly competitive and looked better than she ever has.

Might have been able to steal the fight if she had pushed for the KO in round 3 instead of clinching when KK was wobbled.

From the girl who lost to PVZ to the one who fought Saturday night she’s made some serious progress.

Feliz navidad to you too

Oops. That’s what I get for starting a thread on my iPhone.

I thought she did quite well also. She faced pretty much one of the best women in the weight class who fought a close fight with JJ and held her own.

Plus she was closer to a finish than her opponent in the 3rd.

She is tough as nails, never been finished.

Just needs to keep improving her fight IQ.

Cats like Felix, like Felix.

Felice should be feliz with her split decision loss. She has no business in the top 5, and Rose, JJ, Gadelha and Andrade would all make her very infeliz inside the octagon, but she can hang in there with the top 10, is a solid gatekeeper and fun to watch for WMMA standards. She'll likely be on FS1 a couple more times this year.
