It would be too much of Dana White priviledges for Gane to get a crack of Tom's belt at his home soil, especially since the whole titleshot is highly questionable after that Volkov loss.

Although, Dana White told Volkov they are gonna make it up for him and Dana told also the press that they are going to make it up all these Jones' sheanigans for Tom. So, it would actually make a perfect sense to put him against Gane in fucking Paris.
