Imagine they found a cure for cancer and heart disease

You think they'll ever find a cure for both?

The two major causes of death for human beings.

If they found a cure for both, I'm pretty sure our life expectancy would be over a 100.

Or is too profitable to not find a cure for cancer and heart disease?

The problem with either of those, particularly heart disease, is that they're dozens of different conditions all under one label. It's like finding a cure for broken bones or something - they happen for a whole bunch of different reasons. I think they'll find ways to prevent certain types of cancer and heart disease, but they won't be completely eliminated in my lifetime.

Also, is the whole "big pharma doesn't provide cures" things actually true? Plenty of crap has been cured even in my lifetime. I know they just love to string you along for drugs for treatments, but did big pharma funded research have nothing to do with the many things which are cured?

Thanks for chiming in Dr.

Well said, thank you.

They did, ages ago.. why would they want the general public to know about the truth? When all the government does is take advantage of you.. poison you with chemicals in your pills, food, etc. Rob you of the income that you rightfully deserve and have a tax price on everything you buy, just for a ridiculous excuse of building infrastructure, when in reality they can just create the money for it themselves and not fk ppl in the ass.

They may already have, but even if they did theres no way they would release it. If people just miraculously began to get healthy, it certainly wouldnt benefit the people who profit off the meds. An individual can spend well over 100k a year in treatment. Most of these people end up dying but the money gets spent if only to prolong life as long as possible.

Sad thing is there have been people who refused to take said treatments and somehow fought the cancer off by their own means. Docs discourage this greatly and simply pawn it off as some sort of fluke of nature. Hell, anytime people take health into their own hands, theres always a doc or specialist around the corner discouraging any method that go against the "norm".

Its common knowledge $$$$ is a motivating factor in the world of meds and therapy. Shit, even some cases of people who pay to see chiropractors and physiotherapists dont have to. They go for months if not years without anything getting better. Could probably heal on own if they just did some research.

PS, im not saying im anti meds and docs, just dont put all your faith in them alone. You MUST take care of your own body as much as you can.

PS. Im not saying im fully against cancer therapy or anything. Im simply saying all of this certainly looks like one big cash grab.

Yes, but it will take some time before it becomes widely available and affordable for everyone. If I had to guess I would say it happens in the next 50 years.
They probably will make a duplicate of your heart using stem cells. So no risk of rejection and no artificial hearts.

Cancer will be cured by AI nanobots in shrunken little spaceships that will laser the fuck out of tumours.
(Actually just cut the salt out of your diet and you can prevent both)

then we'd all die of liver or kidney failure or a million other things

True there would be other ways to die, but our life expectancy would go up substantially I would think. Considering heart disease and cancer are #1 & #2 causes of death for humans. A cure for those things would be amazing for extending human beings to live longer.

I think if treatment is the more profitable option - in comparison to cures - they're gonna go with that. I really hate how anyone who doesn't agree with a mainstream narrative or thinks everything isn't all rainbows and sunshine is automatically called a "conspiracy theorist" nowadays. Grow tf up.

Not trying to be a dick, but if that is actually how you think then you should endeavour to develop a better understanding of how economies work at various scales.

I watched a podcast and Peter Attia said the three major causes of dead are heart disease, cancer, and I think alzheimer.

On the scale towards diabetes 2. People who are closer to diabetes 2 have more chance to get heart disease, cancer, and I think alzheimer.

Good food and good exercise are very effective against diabetes 2.

So, good food and good exercise are effective against cancer and heart disease.

I saw a documentary a while back that argues that a plant based diet is the only thing that can help reverse clogged arteries. Maybe it’s true

There are early signs that selenium will be the cure for cancers. Knowing this, I expect things to ramp up in the near future
