Coming off a big decision win over Rick Glenn. And yet somehow people are applauding Khabib.

imagine if he defended a belt and we never had to be in this situation to begin with

Imagine if Conor lost to Nate Diaz on short notice.

Rarely does first comment ever end a thread but... /thread
Conor and khabib would have doing for the belt after Conor beat aldo (Conor is even on tape sayin he assumed the fight would be against Khabib) but khabib got hurt for a year

Bro, he's got better shit to do.

Khabib just accepted a belt by beating a part time fighter lol
UFC’s fault for not having a better replacement. Alvarez should’ve been getting paid show money to weigh in In case of tony/khabib pulled out last minute.

And besides not paying someone on stand by, they should’ve gave the shot to Ortega over an injured Holloway.

What does that have to do with anything? Khabib doesn't have to accept the belt. He could say this belt is #1 bullshit until I beat Tony and Conor but instead he's posing with it like it's not the most pathetic paper champ in UFC history

But some of us are objective enough to state that both McG losing to Nate and Khabib being awarded a belt for beating Al are big fucking jokes.

He made weight, showed up for a title fight. If ufc is too sloppy to get a legit opponent for him, that’s not a reason to rob himself of his dream.

One thing for sure is he’ll actually attempt to defend his “paper belt” against the top contenders

Say what you want about Connor but he did defeat two legit champions.
Kahbib was gifted that belt.

That would entail that he fights more than once this year which has happened once over the last 4 years
