Imagine if Aldo had accepted the rematch.

He's going from 145 to 170 in a heartbeat, while never having lost in the UFC, having beat the previous p4p #1, and several top 5/10 opponents at his previous weightclass.

That's the definition of p4p.

If Conor beats Nate, he's p4p #1, no doubt about it.
Beating Nate Diaz at any weight is not going to be the final check mark that vaults anybody to the top of the pound for pound list. Beating RDA for the belt would've done it for Conor though.

No matter what Aldo does the result would be the same, Conor would just hunt him down and bust him in the chin again. If you can't see that then you are the delusional one.

Or aldo would stay out of the pocket and throw nasty leg kicks which Conor never has checked in his life, slowing his movement speed down, then get in the pocket in the 4th or 5th and land some bombs on him. Just.. lol. But we will never see the fight because your boy is about to get exposed as not being some next great who can fight at any weight class and dominate come Saturday.

Conor could not make 145 Faber accepted the fight and Conor turned the shit down and I can understand that he put on weight for the other title fight but if they had never dreamed this hair brain idea up about holding all these belts he would not have bulked up and he could have made weight and defended his title like whats stated in UFC policy which all other fighters must follow. The reason that policy is in place is to avoid this nonsense that is happening tomorrow with a champion fighting a non title fight against a guy that got a 10 day training camp. Its a slap in the face to the other guys that Conor steps up and makes Nate rich while they are eating cat food. I am old school I know what is right and what is some phony ass bullshit and I will never shut up about it.

He must defend once a year, which is what he planned on doing I believe. He only won the belt 3 months ago, to say he is doing something wrong by not defending his belt within 3 months when guys like lawler who defended a few weeks later don't even have a fight lined up is laughable.

He was already a very large FW, so if he bulked up even more for this fight then there is no way he could cut the extra 10 pounds in a healthy way in that short of time to fight Faber. I may be wrong, but I doubt Faber was officially given an offer to fight at 145 from the UFC. He may have offered it, but I can't imagine Faber was offered the fight from Dana only to have Conor turn it down.

Keep dreaming....Aldo wouldn't be able to get a kick in without eating a left cross. We know he can't handle and doesn't want another one of those lefts. Conor broke some dudes ankle from checking a kick years ago so it's not like he doesn't know how.
If Conor was to lose then that could be bad news for Aldo as Conor might be coming back down to defend his belt. Aldo and his fans need to hope and pray that Conor keeps winning in the higher weight class or Aldo might have to retire....lol

Seriously doubt Conor is ever going to 145 again anyways, its a moot point. Conor himself admitted there was no power in that punch, Aldo isn't afraid of the left. He got tagged on the button and went lights out. A rematch would be completely different, stop kidding yourself. Not even an Aldo fan.

Whether intentional or not, Aldo will likely pull out with an injury if he is granted a rematch with McGregor. More physical than mental, but I'm almost certain of it.

It might be that he feels that he needs to be 100% physically to have a chance against McGregor. Now that I've thought about it, that would be more mental than physical.

Aldo doesn't want it but he will pretend like he does for the rest of his life. Aldo is hoping Conor never comes back to 145 and he probably will get his wish. Then he can get a few wins, get his belt back and retire the "GOAT FW", like so many wish he still was.

Aldo waiting for Conor to come back to 145 becomes similar to Cyborg waiting for Ronda to come to 145

He still is the FW Goat - Conor has to defend his title beore he can be considered FW Goat. And please don't say he is the FW goat because he beat Aldo, Bisping beat the MW Goat, does that make him MW goat?

Aldo supplied the power by lunging forward cause when you're going backwards you're not going to have much power behind the punch. We all know Conor has great power shots and he can find the chin from a good distance because of his reach.
I'm sure a second fight would be different as Aldo would probably try to stay back, avoid, elude but Aldo can't hide from Conor's left all night, eventually it will find Aldo's chin and put him to sleep, again.
Aldo doesn't have anything Conor can't handle, I see TKO/KO every time.

Conors ability to out talk his opponents does not mean he cannot lose.. Also still has the tools and power to beat Conor.

You can't deduce that from a thirteen second fight man. I mean your welcome to your opinion and all but it's foolish to think a punch or leg kicks from Aldo can't hurt any FW/LW.its also foolish to think that Concors left will put everyone out every time.

Big difference there though, Silva is way past his prime, so IMO he keeps his MW GOAT status...Aldo is still in his prime years and 13 seconds!...I don't think a GOAT can be knocked cold in 13 seconds while in his prime and still hold that distinction....I do agree that Conor would have to defend a few times to take that title so maybe there isn't a GOAT yet or anymore...The FW division is still kind of young....I don't know...Seems ridiculous to say that the GOAT FW got knocked dead in 13 seconds though.

I'm not going by just the 13 seconds...I'm looking at everything I've seen from Conor and Aldo throughout their careers and the directions they are heading, which appears to be north and south.
Aldo kicks can hurt a fighter big time, been proven, just like Conor's left keeps hurting them big time, proven.
I'm taking the left cross, length and the overall fighting style Conor brings, over the soccer kicks, and punchers chance Aldo brings. I don't see Jose having any answer for Conor, styles make fights and this matchup is not in Jose favor.

Conor's got hit by everyone he's fought. You don't think Aldo has the chance to get inside and Crack him too??? And there's zero chance Conor can be hurt? It's not just a punchers chance either Aldo can set traps as well. If he gets the kicks going, he does it better than just about anyone in the game. And Conor would lose power from not being able to plant his feet as well if Aldo destroyed his legs. I'd favor Conor at this point but Aldo has the tools.
