I expect this fight to be fight of the night, and another war for them. But. ..

Is it going to be filled with Bro hugs and high fives?

I can't stand that during the fight!

It does makes you wonder, specially after that weigh in. I hope not though.

What are you on? Almost every fight I have ever seen with high five's have been barn burners.

I guess. High fives are like breaking the 4th wall. Just takes me right out of it. I hope Cerrone channels rampage vs hendo and puts his game face on until the fight is over.

I disagree. If two guys can put aside their friendship and battle it out and still be cool afterwards, that gives me warm fuzzies.

That's what I'm saying. Put it aside and battle. Be cool afterwards. Not DURING

Their first two fights weren't. I don't mind that shit anyone, people overplay it when really it hardly takes up any of the fight.

I hate that shit too. Touch gloves at the start and shake hands or hug or whatever after. No need for touching gloves at the start of every round either. And watching fighters asking if the other guy wants to touch, that's just weird. All that training and getting in the zone for a fight and the last thing you do before you start is ask if your opponent wants to touch gloves.

I could go on. I just hope this lives up to it's potential

They're professional fighters, I think they can put their friendship aside for 15 minutes. I hope.

How can you not respect someone you've had two wars with

Cerrone is the type that will knock out his best buddy anyway, look what he did with guillard

Dana was getting mad at weigh ins.....If Dana can create fake animosity with prefight hype why can't he create real animosity between the two.....Like "Benson I didn't want to tell you this before the fight but I saw cowboy leaving a hotel room with your wife". And then show him a terribly photoshopped picture.

    Bam no hugs

If it's not a great fight it won't have anything to do with their friendship. Benson and Cowboy are generally friendly to their opponents outside the cage for the most part but they're professionals and they play for keeps.

    Only one war, really.

Two professionals that will smile at each other and touch gloves, and then try to kill each other for 15 minutes, then take pics together afterwards.

    No fake heat please.

I don't think Cerrone is that type of fighter. He is friendly with everybody until the fight and then when they say fight its go time for him, he is in killing mode.

That being said I fully expect Bendo to just press him against the cage and grind him so there will be little room for high five.

WAR Cerrone, I hope he KO Bendo

They both have a lot to lose with this fight, so they'll both take it seriously and go for the kill. Cerrone has fought friends before (Guillard) and finished him. Bendo will probably utilize his normal safe style and win on points anyway.

Nah, both are consummate professionals! High-fives will be the before and after, no doubt.
