hey guys me and a few guys i train with in bjj are trying to start a new gym.we are based in UK.we are looking to buy mats for this.i have came across a chinese website called alibaba.com.i was wondering if this site is legit or are the mats a chepa knock off like itemss on wish.
or basically we are looking to buy decent mats.any feedback on this is welcome.thanks again.

Alibaba is more like a storefront for manufacturers to sell goods, so quality depends on what manufacturer you're buying from. Though I've personally never had any good experiences with goods from Alibaba/AliExpress.

If you're starting a gym and taking customers, a good choice would be to invest in high quality mats. Dollamur and Zebra make good mats based on word of mouth and reviews.

Personally, I've only ever tried Zebra mats since the gym I go to uses Zebra mats. They're good enough for throws. Don't know how much shipping will be to the UK though, but Zebra Mats are pretty expensive in general. Dollamur mats are a bit cheaper, but are roll out mats.

Just giving you a quick answer to give you more time to look at options. I'm sure there will be gym owners with better answers than the one I'll give you.

Thanks for the info.the Chinese mats seem quite cheap but as you say it's about quality.thanks for the reply and I will have a look at the links
