I'm tired of seeing threads claiming absurd things about Anderson simply because he lost to a great fighter at the very tail end of his career.

"Was Machida better then Silva" for example.

Lets see here... NOPE.


Face it. Prime Silva is neck and neck with Fedor for the greatest MMA fighter of all time. If you question that, you're an idiot. Silva will pick apart nick Diaz and (hopefully) ride off into the sunset a retired man.

The Weidman fights showed that Silva has slowed considerably which is to be expected. He lost to a much younger, fresher fighter and there's no shame in that.

He's certainly the best striker ever. His BJJ game is no joke, but on his back was obviously his weak point. And it's not his fault he fought at MW when it was considered one of the weakest divisions. Love watching him fight though

Silva is criminally underrated on these boards as of his losses to Weidman. There was even a thread saying Bisping would light Silva up worse than he did Cung Le. BISPING, for God's sake. No surprise though, given that this forum's motto is you're only as good as your last fight.
