Holy fuck, cut Santos. How the fuck are you top 5 when your ground game is legit under 3 months of training? He legit did not even display white belt level. If you put Glover against a random, I couldn't have told the difference. Instead he actually apparently dominated the perhaps rightful champ.

I normally do not go all in on a bad performance, they happen. But Thiago legit did not belong anywhere near the the title. What an embarrassment this division is. Jon was 100% right to leave, LHW is fucking trash.

That was a damn fun fight. You need to realize that when you throw those heavy flurries that Thiago does, it really saps your gas tank and you are very prone to getting taken down or clinched. Thiago is a big guy and doesnt have a big gas tank. Thiago had that barrage early and lost gas and got taken down. Then in the 3rd he really used whatever energy he had left to GnP Glover before getting finished. Glover is also one of the best top heavy guys in the division and gives near anyone troubles on the mat. Thiago just needs to be more disciplined with his striking.

My drunk ass guard could've been more effective than his. 100% a McDonalds black belt, not worth it's $15 price tag.

Seriously. I want to see 1 single person say 100%, all honesty, that they don't think they can outgrapple Santos and his performance tonight, or keep Glover to guard. His ground game is fucking horrible. 2 years off or no years off, that was one of the top 5 most embarrassing performances of all time.

LHW is an embarrassment.

I agree that LHW is bad right now and Santos is not close to GOAT Jones level but Jones seems to be falling off and I would not be surprised to see him get ktfo at HW.
 
Lol at TS implying many of us could have grappled better than Santos.
Honestly, I did see Santos recover half guard after being mounted almost instantly, multiple times. I believe he even recovered guard once. He survived like 8+ minutes under Glover's top game without taking any significant damage (mind you, Glover has one of the best top game in the division). I think his gameplan was very clear, he did not want to expend energy/get in bad situations while getting up, and was riding out the round whenever he got on the bottom. He also only got submitted after his gas tank was sapped. Let us appreciate Glover here for a great victory over a tough opponent, rather than suggesting that the UFC cut Santos (lol TS is retarded).

I don't think so

Glover is an extremely heavy on top 2nd degree black belt who is strong as fuck and exerts absurd levels of pressure.

He did the exact same thing to Anthony smith in his last fight, also a black belt.
