The yogurt company, Chobani, was started by a Kurdish immigrant from Turkey, by the name of Hamdi Ulukaya, and this guy is the fucking man!
Over the last few years, Ulukaya has been known for his philanthropy, giving away millions.
Now, he's given away 10% stake of his company to his 2,000 full time employees. Currently, the company is still private, but if it goes public in the near future (which it likely will), those shares could be worth quite a bit for those employees.

The New York Times estimated that the average award could be worth $150,000 based on a $3 billion valuation of the company. Some awards, for employees with the longest tenure, could top $1 million, according to the paper.
This is not the first time that Ulukaya has tried to do right by his employees and those who have less. He's been a vocal supporter of a higher minimum wage and has hired hundreds of refugees fleeing countries ravaged by terror. He's also signed the Giving Pledge, created by Warren Buffet and Bill and Melinda Gates to encourage billionaires to give away much of their wealth.
