"I'm going to lose a lot of money" - Greg Jackson on the Reebok deal

Yeah lets all feel bad for Jackson, the guy who probably has millions upon millions by now

I keep forgetting how much the UFC has a responsibility to make certain that coaches like Jackson get paid well...

I can relate to and except your understanding as reasonable, but it should be noted that the UFC structure/culture is just the latest incarnation of an archaic business/political model that will eventually give way to better idea's...its just a matter of time....probably alooooot of time.:icon_lol:

and not a single fuck was given that day.

Why are people reacting like, "too bad, I don't feel sorry for you Jackson."

He is simply stating that this is costing him money. He even says it's more about the fighters than it is about him. Someone came up and probably asked him how the Reebok deal is affecting him and he's just saying what's up.

This does suck for him. Coaches need a way to get paid. Most of their fighters can't afford to pay them much, and the job requires constant travel to go corner your fighters. But he's got a gym and can probably do seminars/speaking engagements too. He'll be fine.

The people that are saying that are the idiots who didnt read Jackson's remarks.

I'm the richest man in the world. All I need are two things. My 2013 Specialized Demo 8 downhill bike and a mountain to ride that fucker down.

I need nothing else in this world.

I can dig it brother, its sounds like the movie "Seven Years in Tibet" though, eventually you either you come down the mountain, or you find somebody will come up to your peaceful place in heaven and kick you off it.
Thank goodness there are plenty of mountains to ride out. :D

i thought he made most of his money from blankets anyways?

Well atleast hes not bitter about it and says its really about the fighters and not him.

I love that line. The funniest part is that most people who hear it don't realize the next thing that happens is the bike owner gets jacked. Funny stuff.

From the Sun Tsun esque mastermind that told Jones to go get some fans with feigned concern..

...any displayed concern over fighter's welfare must be taken with a grain of salt. Could be self serving lies.

People are forgetting that Dana Whites' job as President of the UFC is to make the best deals for the UFC. Period.

You think all white people are rich? what would you classify the Arabs in the Middle east as then?

Depends on which "middle east" we are talking about and which segment of the community we a referring. A case can easily be made one way, or another.
