I'm getting old as dirt

Bro I'm waking up with aches and pains, my knees hurt randomly - my shoulders are bothering my back is fack

this is the worst

Dude. My ankle still hurts from it being rolled on in August.

Had a saber teacher ask any injuries. Was better placed to say what didn't hurt, rather than what did: left ankle, hips, left elbow, 7 fingers. They're all good. Everything else lets me know its there or stops me from doing shit!

How old are we talking here? After 40 it's expected, especially if you spent your youth training something and/or lifting weights. My elbows can really fuck my day up, especially now in the winter. It sucks, but what can you do. At least I still got my hair...ooopss. Fuck it. Getting old sucks.

You have AIDS, space AIDS to be exact...... Given to you by space pirates or space monkeys......

Don't slow down. Exercise 7 days a week. It doesn't have to be super intense everyday, but do some form of exercise daily. Also, switch workouts to first thing in the morning. I'm 49 and 5:30 am workouts have changed my life.

dude, re the aches and pains consider trying some supplements.

I have never been a supplement guy as someone who just thought eating healthy and living healthy was enough. But as we age our body struggles to metabolize the type of minerals and vitamins we need from food sources. We just don't pull enough out of the food before pooping it out.

I went through years of growing aches and pains and went to massage therapy, iMS treatments, Yoga and all sorts of things to combat the growing pains. Then finally after 5 years of slow but increasing decline I relented and started to take some supplements. Within 3 months I started to notice some of the aches lessening. Now a year later, I would say I am back to a point about 5 years ago, with regards to aches and pains.

We're all getting old, but you can maintain your body in good optimum physical shape by eating good food, exercising, stretching, sleeping well etc..etc..

100% agree with this. I used to lift about 3-4 days a week at high intensity in my 20's. I do something everyday now and basically autoregulate intensity based on how I feel. I'm still squatting heavy, deadlifting heavy, benching heavy, etc. at near 40 and have also started at a boxing gym which is pretty intense on the cardio/muscle endurance side. Every morning I may feel a bit sore or stiff, but I generally stretch with my coffee. I'm always ready to go for lifting or boxing in the afternoon.
