I'm craving a box of dirty old store bought, no name brand fried chicken

I don't know why... but I'm craving fried chicken. But not good fried chicken from take out or a restaurant or home made fried chicken ... but that really awful store bought, no name brand that just tastes bad and I always burn in the oven - you know, the kind you buy in a box and it doesn't go bad like fresh meat - it could be on the shelf for years

... maybe I'm depressed

 

I made southern fried chicken recently. Tasted pretty authentic.

I don't know where you are TS so I can't recommend any chicken joints. As a rule of thumb, if you pass by an old roadside shack that's dishing out yardbird, you probably can't go wrong.

It may or may not be that ol' dirty-dirty that you're craving but it should scratch the itch.
