I'm balls deep in Chess

What is your current ELO rating?

So I'm between 1291-1320 on daily games. I hadn't been playing a ton so I feel as though I am closer to 1400. I have never entered a FIDE tournament to get a real ELO. I'm dealing with chess.com for it.

Yeah I am the same. Although i think I hit the wall at 1450 for awhile. its been a long time since I played. Playing time limit games adds a lot of stress to my meta-game and having kids ate up a lot of time I used to dedicate to chess.

I always played a bit, but for the first 100 games on Chess.com i was in the low 800's. kept trying all kinds of dumb Gambits i thought were cool like Danish and it bit me in the ass a lot. Then i settled down and worked on each opening. I still enjoy King's and Queen's Gambit on occasion, but playing Black is where i find i shine. Sicilian Defense is easily my favored opening and I feel it out and decide if I am going dragon or Najdorf. I like French occasionally, but it always slows the game and closes the board. Scandanavian is fun but treacherous as I just don't "feel" that one.. Caro Kann I have been looking into. Indian defense is more my cup of tea tho.

I also spent a lot of time experimenting with Chess 960. I enjoy the random setup element as I found it helped me look at the movesets of pieces in new ways. Takes away the advantages of people who memorize openings and there are a lot of those.

I am hoping to reach 2000 ELO by this time next year. It's a lofty goal, but it is my goal lol.
blitz requires an understanding of your openings for white and black since it saves you time. study openings for both along with their variations for the best result when playing blitz. u lose on time, u lose the game.

I've never tried the chess 960 but now I'm going to. My opening of choice has been the Italian game as I've gotten players to forget about my dark squared bishop often. I'm fairly calculated in my personal life so the gambits are too aggressive for me. Thanks for the advice man!

You aren't wrong. I've almost been wired to make the best move and avoid blunders. Pre moves are key to pressure and I haven't mastered that yet. If you look at most of my games, if I had another minute, I'd checkmate my opponent lol.

real chess is without time but not too much time where you don't have to worry about it. it's the true essence of chess over blitz. even Kasparov and Fischer would agree since you have time to really use your chess skills to it's potential.

I'm about to be ballz deep in a 22 year old Swedish escort (if she can take it)
Recently I have been balls deep in a 45 year old "former" escort. Started fucking her and within 3 days she wanted to be monogamous...

Like chess, tried learning the different gambits, but fell asleep for some reason

Sherbros!!! I have decided on my new hobby now that school is done and what not. I'm becoming obsessed with Chess. It's such a beautiful game and it has it all! The strategy, the style of play, the absolute art of it all! I'm reading a few books on it as we speak and I will be entering some tournaments once this pandemic ends. I play online a lot and my current ELO is 1740. I played my whole life but once I touched a vagina I shifted my focus.

Now I have one vagina for the rest of my life so I'm back baaaaaaaybeeeee!!! Any of you Sherbros play Chess? How's the competitive scene?

As I've said, I work in a prison and I have played countless games against inmates. They talk all types of shit but when you hit them with a Danish Gambit they realize you are an absolute savage.

Cliffs: Chess is my new thing...

At the risk of creating a scene... You still play or are you ducking me?
