I'm All For Steroid Punishment, But This Is Just Stupid

I love the new rules being brought in with stricter punishment for getting caught taking PED's but this is just stupid.

Turning a loss into a win for the losing fighter is just ridiculous. So now Trujillo is on a two fight winning streak with one of those wins coming by way of tapping to a rear naked choke??
I think this needs to be addressed or else records in mma are going to become hard to be taken seriously.

Also does this mean Dada 5000 is still undefeated and his fight with Kimbo will be changed to a win after Kimbo's failed test?? lol...
What if Nate Diaz results come back positive for weed. Will Conor McGregor be changed to the winner of the fight???

For purse purposes I agree with this but I think k it should be ruled a NC only if the cheater wins....

It's weird. In fights where a steroid user wins, it should be a N/C. In fights where a steroid user loses, the win should remain a win for the non-steroid user.

I think if you get caught without steroids you should be banned for 5 years that way their is no possible way of cheating. Drug testing slows it down it will never eliminate steroid use. Anytime somebody can find that edge they will take it and sooner or later get caught but look how he fucks up people until they catch him. Make them all take them is only solution for leveling the playing field.

I am sure this does sound stupid but I have yet to see or hear another solution that will make sure the playing field is level

I'd say it should be recorded the same way as if a fighter got disqualified for something they did during a match ... its basically being caught cheating, just after the fact. As far as I know, if you get disqualified during a match, it counts as a loss for you and a win for your opponent; this is just making it consistent.

Cheating is cheating.
