Barring any unforeseen setbacks - just sign on the dotted line (soon if ever) and you've sealed your fate.

I agree that Brooks has a lot to offer to the LW division. Comes into every fight with the perfect gameplan, still young, athletic, dare i say explosive? I think he gives Pettis a better fight than what most people expect.

He should be fighting in the UFC. The guy has beaten Chandler twice now. That's a huge deal. I wish UFC would sign more of the elite fighters from outside, like Brooks, Askren, and Moraes. We need fresh blood.

If he came to UFC in 2015, who should his first fight be? I got cowboy, that'd be awesome.

Awful matchup for Cowboy imo, but Cowboy seems to prove me wrong each time.

And to the guy who mentioned the Saad Awad KO, literally the same exact situation as Cain/JDS, Serra/GSP, but not as brutal I guess.. Will did merk Awad in their rematch. The better fighter won the 2nd fight.

Brooks is good, and he looks impressive in Bellator, but there it is, he looks impressive in Bellator. He could be great, sure, but we'll never know as long as he's facing that level of competition and not finishing most of them...

Chandler and Sarnavskiy are both high level UFC caliber competition.

They look that way because of their competition. I'm not saying they aren't talented, for all I know they come to the UFC and become total GOAT's, but right now they are enigmas.

And I like Koreshev more than Tiger, but honestry I think that whole camp is screwed as long as they continue to follow Storm's lead.

Finishing Eddie is a big, big deal. Eddie's faced some of the who's who in their prime, like Kawajiri for instance, and the Cowboy fight was a lot closer of a fight then people imagine when seeing the highlights.

Chandler finishing Eddie shows just how dangerous and well rounded of a fighter he is, and Brooks edging him twice shows just how good he is.

Sarnavskiy definitely needs to be tested more, but I see him performing very well in the UFC if the time comes.

Just like how Eddie Alvarez was supposed to come in and destroy Cerrone and fight for the title, right?

Let's not forget Lombard, who was supposed to tear it up in the MW division!

The Cerrone fight wasn't remotely close. Eddie only survived because Cowboy coasted at the end, which admitted.

Not really what I said, I believe Cowboy humbled him for sure but I wasn't watching that fight thinking "wow Eddie does not belong at this level."
