What's the most annoying thing anyone's ever said or done to you?
"Yeah, I leg kicked him in the head!"
"Do you train UFC?"
"Dude, I'll just bench you off."

I get the "Do you train UFC?" all the time, and i believe its the worst one by far. Or when people say"Ill put you in a back choke" when they mean rear naked.

Training UFC is absolutely the most king of king's of stupid comments. I think it deserves the death penalty...by stomping....by Wanderlei silva.

"Have you ever tapped?"

Like how the hell can you train without tapping every day? Unless you train at Kramer's McDojo.

i think people to talk about training, wear fight clothing and mimic fighting moves OUTSIDE the gym are annoying.

wearing fight clothing reminded me about ufc 97. the place was crowded with dudes in affliction and then a guy walked in wearing SPRAWL shorts. i laughed my ass off

holy shit!! i would of taken pictures of that. you know what really gets on my nerves? is when people train alittle and think they're the shit

I despise people who love to debate how Mike Tyson would kick everyone's ass in the UFC. Or people who get pissed and start to boo if God forbid, the fighters don't wade into each other throwing haymakers, and actually feel each other out for a minute. And let's not even talk about the Tapout tough guy wannabes who constantly say boxing is dead because of the UFC. Speaking of which, remember when Tapout shirts were still cool, because pretty much the only people who knew about them were people who were actually into the sport? I haven't worn a Tapout shirt in years now.

I once heard someone scream at someone:
"I'll fucking hit you ten times before you hit the ground".

My mates and I burst out laughing and one of them called out
"then you must hit like a pussy!".

some young guy was watching me kick the heavy bag, approached me and said you kick wrong.
i said this is how i was taught to kick so this is how i do it.
he then said well your trainer taught you wrong, who is your trainer.
i said at present my trainer is apidej sit hrun, but with 400+ fights and 7 titles, fighter of the century in thailand, what would he know.
with that the young man left.

i do more grappling then striking, but, i understand the major importance of striking and find it beautiful.

But my question, do you guys find it annoying when people boo grappling during MMA matches?

completely agree with the whole not being able to wear tapout thing. i bought a shirt and i just never seem to wear it cus i dont wanna look like a douche

another thing that pissed me of was grappling with some guy and he was more experienced.
he took my back and reached over my shoulder placing a finger up each nostril,he then pulled like crazy.
this led to me knocking his ass out with a soccer kick as we were getting up.
this was a training session and hes going at it like hes fighting for his life.

I get pissed at crowds who boo fighters who are measuring eachother up

crowds that boo fighters who appoligize for not putting on an exciting fight

The crowd that bood Patrick Cote for appoligizing for having a blown out knee. How the fuck was that his fault?

I dont like it when the crowd boos when guys go to the ground. I dont like to grapple but that doesnt mean there isnt a lot of technique and work involved in that end of the game.

My pet peeve: The guy who comes into the gym with his sprawl shorts, tapout hoodie, and all the new and "cool" gear (without a mark on it, and that new leather smell)and as I explain "you need to come into the begginner class and learn the basics" he gives me a story about all his "buddies" who are MMA bad-asses that he has trained with, just not at a "gym". Then before he even breaks a sweat he explains "i wanna take a fight in the next couple months!".

This usually ends with the guy coming into the begginer class and getting jabed and leg kicked by a white collar father or chubby 15yr old..... At which point he explains "im a ground guy", Then sticks around for the BJJ class where he gets "tapped" several times in a row by a white belt, usually with the same submission 3-4 times (triangle, or kimura). Really, I swear this happens once a week!

Really? You've met people like this?

People are so stupid

I get annoyed at arrogant MT guys who think their art is the ultimate form of standup, and look down on TMAs.

I have seen this phenomenon.

I play in the MMA and traditional karate worlds. Last Friday I went to fights with a couple of my traditional karate friends. One is a great guy but a bit of a fancy boy. He is always wearing the latest style (runs retail stores). He shows up in an Affliction shirt. I grabbed him in the parking lot and persuaded him to turn it inside out.
