    It's starting today
These are not the world championships but still a lot of nations and a lot of known faces are taking part
For those who don't know, this is an amateur muaythai competition. The level is at is highest, a lot of pro fighters go fight there and represent their respective nations
Here is the program for the 1st day, featuring rising prospect Serhiy Kuliaba and multiple world champ Andrei Kulebin, and for the women part, stand out Anke Van Gestel and star Valentina Shevchenko

I fought at IFMA in 2009 and 2010. In 2009 I won a Gold medal and in 2010, I actually fought Sergei Kuliaba in the quarter finals. He won by decision and went on to win Silver that year. We had a 4 round war when he ran through everyone else except for Thailand in the finals. He was my 14th fight and his coaches told me he had about 130-140 at the time lol.

Best memories and experience of my amateur career!

Btw - I'm friends with a few of the fighters in this year's team for USA and the team went 5-0 so far. Pretty strong showings.

Kulyaba I believe, is one of the most accomplished amateurs out there, he beat Kulebin and Dahlbeck (and lord knows who else) as an amateur.

B class when I only had about 7 fights. I fought A class in 2010, that's when I fought Kuliaba.

He KO'd Mexico in about 40 seconds in the first round for his first fight and beat Belarus bad from ring post to ring post in his semi final fight. Thailand in the finals and myself gave him his toughest fights. Dude was a beast. In hindsite, I should have been fighting at 60kg in A class like I usually do here at home.

Here is the full fight. Block is very good, but Valentina is a different animal.

The next round it will be Valentina Vs Van Gestel in semi finals. A Legacy Kickboxing rematch, but will full MT rules.

Day 4 today and already Quarter finals

Highlight of the day will be 91kg quarter final between Artem Vakhitov and Dzianis Hancharonak, in what should be a thriller and the 980th fight between the 2

Kulebin's quarter final vs Akzhanov from Kazakhstan should be good too

Valentina Shevchenko defeats Anke Van Gestel by 1st round TKO in Semi to advance to 60 kg finals to face Belorus. Rematch of LK3 but this time Valentina gets to use more of her tools. Livershot to clinch to throw to unconscious.

Antonina Shevchenko advances to final to face Australia in 63.5 kg finals.

Are you asking my style of fighting? I don't have a Thai style but not quite a Dutch style. I push a fast pace though and like throwing combinations with all my weapons and using footwork. I guess you could say that I have an aggressive and fan friendly style.

I think he was asking if you were STILL fighting

Semi finals day today. Every big name that took part are there, the likes of Liubchenko, Kulebin, Valent, Vakhitov, Herasimchuk (yeah all from the east i know). There is a Thai nakmuay qualified in all of the small weight classes up to 75kg

    Full A Class program :

Haha well then yes, still fighting.

I saw on FB that a fighter on the U.S. team is fighting for a gold medal today, I forget the weight class though. I'll have to double check.
