If your just watching the UFC your probably not a true MMA fan ......

I see a lot of people are stuck on UFC fighters and hold them as the elite class when in truth the UFC is just a popular promotion for MMA but that does not mean they only have the "best" of the MMA fighters .

I follow a variety of martial arts and promotions and there is a lot of great talent outside of the UFC also it is enjoyable to watch some of the younger talent coming up through the ranks many who for unknown reasons are not signed to the UFC despite their success proving imo that the UFC is only looking for cash cows and not martial artists

I also love how many UFC fans think that MMA was born when the promotion was and seem to forget that beyond US soil and across the globe there exist a world of elite MMA participants and if your only tuning in to the UFC events your missing some of the best and most exciting matches that MMA has to offer and unlike the UFC the goal is to showcase mixed martial arts skill between the combatants and not pocket huge profits .

So check out the larger world of MMA and leave your frustrations with bad matchmaking and favoritism behind
while I don't want to go back to the more brutal bouts MMA offered in the beginning I do want to see the best MMA has to offer and it isn't always found at the UFC.

There's not really any cool promotions outside of the UFC. I liked Strikeforce and WEC but none of the current ones really inspire me. It's probably the worst time to be a fan of MMA but not a fan of the UFC.

I guess since the vast majority of football fans don't watch Arena Football and only the NFL, they're not real football fans.

And if you're not watching Japanese baseball and only the MLB, you're not a real baseball fan.

I watch Bellator, One FC, WSOF, Legacy, Jungle Fight, Rizin, and a bunch of other promotions. Where's my "True MMA Fan" certificate ?

I pretty much only watch UFC, and Bellator when theres nothing else on. thats it, and I consider myself a true MMA fan. In australia they dont broadcast any other promotion.
I honestly dont have the time to watch the other promotions...you got too much time on your hands if you do.. imo
