It has an i name and the company brags about being FDA cleared. That just means something equivalent already exists and won't kill you for example. It's not proven safe and effective by trials.

I read some famous health guy used red light on the head ten minutes per day everyday and got his hair back after months. Don't know if AI bullshit articles, but saw some state red light is proven to work for hair growth. The red light is supposed to provide energy to cells for wound healing.
