If you know a fight went 5 rounds, do you watch the whole thing?

When it comes to fight replays, re-ordering etc. (*ahem*), do you watch an entire fight when you know it's going to go the distance?

yes, unless I've heard the fight was a snoozefest.

Depends on what type of 5 round fight.

A Woodley snore-fest? nah

A DC / Gus type of back and forth war? For sure.

Usually try to avoid results before watching when im not watching live, i usually dont re-watch fights, having said that, it depends on the fight, Rampage vs Sonnen for once i knew the result, still watched pretty much the whole thing, Stipe vs Ngannou i didnt knew the decision and i fast forwarded a lot of that fight, cause i basically knew by the 2-3rd round it was going to be a decision....boring one, i wouldnt have a bit of a problem watching Pettis vs Henderson I from WEC days, Lawler vs Rory II, and some other entertaining fights that went the distance and i know the outcome already.

If it was close and Sherdoggers are at war in discussion over who won it's a must watch
Or a Choi X Cub war
Or a Khabib X Edson beatdown

Pass if it doesn't fall under one of those categories.

A fight like Rory & Lawler, I would watch if it went to the 20th round.
A fight like Francis & Miocic, not so much. (not that it was that boring, but we knew what the result would be after the second round).

I think it's funny sometimes to fast forward through some of these decision snorefests. It's like, no matter where you stop as you move through the fight the action looks essentially like all the random places you stopped before that.

"Oh, look... they're still dancing around, barely engaging and throwing an occasional single strike that falls short."

Or, "Oh. look... X is still laying on top of Y, not threatening with any subs and doing little to no damage."

Every chance I get, I watch all 5 rounds of Lawler-Condit. Or, fights of that epicness.

I put money on a 4 fights parlay
I was 3/3

My last pick was Condit by decision

( I'm still piss about it....)

My decision would be if I am going to watch the fight at all. Whole fight or not watch.

If i cant watch the fight exactly when it happens, I stay the hell of sherdog until later in the night when i can watch the replay. (ahem)

If i get spoiled on outcomes, it totally makes me not want to watch the fight.

usually not, only if live.

I have probably watched Rory VS Lawler around 20 times... The youtube highlight 100 times, I send it to friends to get them in to MMA.

Just wanted to drop that.

I don't like to rewatch fights with rare exceptions. If I miss a fight, it's nearly impossible to avoid spoilers so I'll just read the result and maybe watch the finish if there is one.

Fights really lose their appeal if it's not happening live to me.

I usually do but I missed Ngannu vs stipe and only watched the 1st and 2nd round. I should watch the whole thing but I just havent had the interest.
