I recently bought a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Special Edition although it’s more of a crossover SUV. It gets 30 mpg city and a few more on the highway and great for driving in shitty conditions. I recommend it.

About same price as CX3, but u get more mpg and the looks as well and the reliability.

If youre an american, I suggest a pickup truck to carry around your fat mother, SO, brother etc. Theyre not gonna fit in a SUV.

I was thinking of buying a Nissan murano for the wife or a new Explorer . Anyone have either?

I was considering the CX3 until reading it came with the Skyactiv technology which I’m not sold on yet. Subaru’s AWD and CVT technology has been around forever as well so it’s pretty reliable.

I drive a 4Runner. I'd get a Sequoia if I went back and did it over.

Planning on likely getting a Honda Pilot, but just trying to prolong that process as long as possible. Ideally no sooner then 2020. Toyota Highlander/4-Runner is not out of the picture though. For luxury I prefer a Audi Q7, but wife would rather get a Acura MDX. Not spending that extra money on cost/maintenance/premium gas though so it won't happen. Who knows what will be out and new models in the next couple of years so I'll decide when that happens unless we go used.

I have a 18 explorer and love it. Went from a Nissan Rogue to the Explorer and it’s miles better in every category especially the interior.

Every Nissan we have owned just felt cheap inside.

I drive a cross trek. Love it

MDX

I've driven in my old man's cr-v and in terms of practical use I'd get it.

Do Jeep Wranglers count as an SUV? If not, Toyota Four Runner.

Hard to go wrong with a Subaru or a Toyota. Personally I'd go with Subaru. My ex had one and that thing was awesome in the snow. FAR superior to the Range Rover I had at the time

man... when passing by a mazda dealer in my area I always ask myself "who the hell buys a Mazda!!" I guess my question was answered today....it seems TS buys "a" mazda
