Weight is a non factor in this scenario.

You will be part of Duke Roufus team, so one of the best MMA gyms in the world.....You will have 3 whole years to prepare for MMA, in the end you will fight Mike Jackson.

Do you believe you could beat em if you dedicated 3 whole years? Would you have done better than CMPUNK at least?

I could beat him grappling, right now.

His stand-up isn't that bad though. He has decent hands, for barely being past his MMA debut.

I would take his head clean off. 1st round KO. Mark my words.

No he doesnt, his punching mechanics are terrible, and it looks like he uses hips in his punches but he doesnt, its all arm. Id take a drunken brawler over him any day. Infact, Id bet 20% of Sherdoggers could murk him, the other 80% are too busy fucking 10/10 chicks.

3 straight years of training is a long ass time to get kinda good at something.

Anyone with a shred of desire can pick up a sport after 3 straight years of practice.

I’d beat Jackson’s ass right now. Dudes head sticks up like a lollipop-pop.

id lose 29-28

1st round id shell up against the cage crying before the fight starts.

2nd round i clinch and get the takedown.

3rd i take off because im gassed being outworked leading to a ud

I would have done well I think I’m a Wado ryu black belt so a little practice in full contact and some grappling would only help
Not sure I’d beat him but I’d make it a fight

This same CM Punk debate is still going?

Absolutely. Even though I am fat and old & since you say weight is not a factor, I would use my size/weight and 3 years of no alcohol/healthy lifestyle & training mostly grappling cardio and strength training to smash him into dust.

Would need to get paid though.

Imagine 3 straight years of training BJJ.

You get good after all that time spent in the gym. This isn’t rocket science here. You practice and get better as time passes.

Even if you suck at everything for an entire year by the second year you should be getting much better across the board.

Ever watch that older MTV show MADE. They took some pencil neck geek and taught him to be somewhat decent at wrestling after a few weeks

Sure the kid wasn’t good but he went from nothing to something after a few weeks of dedicated training

I'm too old to pull it off now, but back in my late 20s - early 30s I think I could have gotten him down and submitted in the 1st round.

Lol to this post.. 3 years to gain mma boxing, kick boxing, clinch offense and defense of each, head movement, foot work. Now let’s go to ground game submission, wrestling offense and defense.

Stop drinking the bong water!

Mother fuckers in mikes weight class and under in here get smoked!

If you had it to make in the ufc, you be there right now!

i could beat his ass right now

under boxing or mma

book it jeff sherwood

He looked shit against a game but clearly overmatched Punk. Not saying I'd win but I'd quite happily have a go now, but with three years training at such a great camp I'd destroy him.

Its disgusting just how bad Punk looked considering how long he's been training at one of the elite MMA camps. Punk needs a serious refund if he's had to pay to train there because it looks like he's learned NOTHING.
