Can you still submit said person or do you have to wait him out?

I haven't really seen this tested much. Most unskilled people (especially in the Gracie days) were idiots who stepped into the grapplers world and got subbed by goingto the ground.

It’s very, very easy to tire new guys out.

Also inexperienced guys tend to be easy prey for chokes, and defending those aren’t a strength issue.

You mean stalling from the feet or in closed gaurd? If from the feet, you mean unskilled in BJJ or unskilled in BJJ and wrestling? A wrestler who's never done BJJ can stall out most BJJ guys if that's there goal from standing. Not from gaurd though. A guy with no grappling experience is getting taken down and submitted though. Unless they are in a soccer field and can back up indefinitely.

You can still submit. May have to deal with some athleticism but you should still be able to pull it off.

Craig Jones isn’t a weak guy, but I think it’s fair to say 300lb powerlifting phase Anthony Johnson is much, much physically stronger than he is. And he’s also not an inexperienced guy.

Why the mods let him threadspam so much is beyond me.
Should be considered a form of trolling.

100+ pointless/use search function threads already since 2014

Honestly when i go againdt strong white belts and untrained guys im more concerned, not because i might loose but because they might hurt themselves. I have seen wierd stuff like guys bridging into kimuras. So i try to choke everyone.

I don't think those "idiots" wanted to go to the ground...more like they got taken down. Which is what BJJ (and other grappling arts) teach you to do - take them down and submit

I think that's a good example, the big guy tried to basically just stall and defend on the ground and still got quickly and easily tapped

I believe that this is can also be interesting, a 270 lbs hockey player pretty much tried to stall with GSP on the feet and still got taken down repeadetly

That's basically the exception to the rule tough, he is the only untrained guy that purposely went to the ground back in the old school days of bjj vs untrained people and other styles of martial (shamrock and severn did it too but they had grappling knowledge)
