So many jobs these days require Random drug tests ... Especially jobs where your actions may costs the lives of others eg using heavy machinery or being pilot... In those jobs if you fail a test your basically automatically fired .... How can jones compete in such a dangerous sport, fail a drug test and get absolutely no punishment? ... Not even a fine!! It's utter rubbish and a slap in the face for the rest of society who has to work for a living.

Beating up your coworkers would gets you fired at a regular job too.

Watched that right after the weigh-ins on Friday. Coke saved many lives.

Alot of those jobs also have a union to protect those positions while the employee seeks help.

Those people that get fired are easily replaced in no time. There is only one Jone Jones.

That's true but there is still some sort of punishment ... And like I said with dangerous jobs the punishment are far more harsh

No, there's tons of athletes who abuse substances and break the contract and should have an asterisk next to their name for not following a set of rules that basically makes them a millionaire....

    Right?

    This was big for MMA.
It got back on PPV, become mainstream. It got on network TV. Now MMA has its much-needed Darryl Strawberry.

Not if you test positive for a substance that's not banned.

In the real world you're replaceable. A guy talented enough to become the GOAT MMA fighter isn't replaceable.

It's time to accept that you're insignificant.
