forgot about pride scoring. it was unique. Nog was controlled the entire fight. yes he attempted subs but normally when a fighter gets controlled like that and cant get up, he loses. This was a rarity for a fight to see the top guy lose. Nog (allbeit he was brazil) was one of the faces of pride back then, ricco definitely was not.
Pride was corrupt as fuck.
Look at Mezger vs sakuraba for example, or fixed fights like Coleman vs takada. Pride was questionable, and so was that decision

Having said that....I fucking loved pride lol
 
So many possible choices. I'd start by narrowing it down to title fights since these would be the only decisions that would impact the legacies of both guys significantly. probably reverse jones-reyes, lawler-condit or couture-rizzo 1 since the one who got robbed failed to win a belt later (although reyes does have more time) and other robbed guys like shogun won the belt any way and those robbed in reigns (bj and edgar) were champs earlier. I'd probably take couture-rizzo if reyes fails to capture gold since this is kind of forgotten as a robbery.
