Past accomplishments don't make a fighter more exciting in the present when he is becomming a can. Shogun got choked out by Sonnen in the first, knocked out by OSP with the first strike. He has become a punching bag.

I love GSP but if he was washed up and would get knocked out by Kelvin Gastelum and choked out by Rick Story and generally just look like unmotivated out of shape shit in the cage, I'd hope he'd retire.
