If you aren't watching this PFL season don't call yourself an MMA fan

Storley is an elite fighter with wins over two UFC ranked welterweights right now (Page and Buckley). He also had an extremely competitive fight with Amosov. I don't care if his style is boring, he's an elite fighter.

People have been giving a shit about Jason Jackson since he beat the fuck out of Amosov. He's looked near flawless for 8 years. His loss to Ruth was a robbery, and he won two rounds in his title fight loss to Kuramagomedov. There is a good case to make that he should be the tournament favorite. I had completely written the guy off after failed stints on TUF and DWCS, but he has completely redeemed his career, and is an elite contender.

Koreshkov is a gatekeeper at this point in his career. I agree.

Thad Jean just won a PFL tournament last year to get entry into this tournament. That's the perfect kind of up and comer that belongs in this field.

Tbh I taped MVP Vs Logan for betting before fat fuck Umalatov missed weight and in retrospect it was clearly 48-47 MVP.

What the heck is wrong with you. MVP's fights are not meant to be rewatched. The whole point of his fights is you've got minutes of activity, and unexpected and spectacular flashes of violence.

I'm trying to win money lol. I hate Umalatov for pulling out lol. Fucker wasted my time
How did you score Jean/Chris Brown btw? I remember that one being somewhat controversial iirc.

Was WSOF ever marketed as having GPs?

Regardless, WSOF gave us Marlon Moraes, Fitch getting choked out, Palhares taking limbs, and Gaethje/Palomino 1 and 2, and for that I'll be forever grateful.
The initial press release said GPs, with a final in Vegas every year, a play on WSOP. Sounded pretty lit, but at the time everyone was skeptical, mostly about who they'd muster in the way of a roster anyone would care about (which we know now changed in time). Not sure what prompted the change in format to typical MMA org, but glad they've come back to their original idea.

Def will watch, theres enough talent to pay attention too so why not watch it but I wouldnt say its must watch for everyone.

Its like Apex events vs PPV for UFC, if you want to watch everything cool but if you want to wait for bigger fights thats cool too.

I understand but think that PFL was out for about half a year and instead of coming back with a banger, they come back with a mid-tier Thursday night 8-fight card headlined by Jason fucking Jackson. I dont know anyone who would go out of their eay to watch any of these guys. Underwhelming to say the least

I don't get why you hate Jackson so much. He's ranked #12 in the world by fightmatrix.

This is a good card with some good fights, I do like Storley despite the hate for his style the guy is talented and tough as nails.

The Kennedy fight was frustrating had Jeremy just stayed away he would have been able to win a decision, it would have been an upset why the hell did he have to get caught like that in the second round, looking forward to these PFL cards.

I gotta come here and eat my crow. I just have not been into this card at all. Pace has been way too slow.

The card was pretty good, I appreciate having something live to watch on Thursday night.

Talent wise this is their deepest year for sure. Still not sure what’s going on with their previous winners I’m guessing there’s going to be some “super” card they throw together. Their champions should not be so inactive.

Where are
Gostov?
Shamil?
Dakota?
Timur?
Yagshimuradov?

What are they doing with?
Usman- get him over asap stop with the bellator
Pico- why is he not in the tourney?
Soren Bak- where tf is this guy
Yaroslav- ??

Guys that fought once and nothing
AJ mckee
Paul Hughes
Vadim
Ngannou

The plan seems to be tourney champs vs bellator champs. Even though its apparant khabid's fighters won't fight each other since gahdzi is in the only tourney champ from last year in a tourney.
The only reason I see Timur not in the tourney is they think they can make him vs Pico since Pitbull is gone, even though Pico wants out.
I guess its Mix against Stots at 135 again I mean who us unless Mix can get released and go to the UFC
bak is done fighting from all accounts.
They might do Goltsov vs ferrera for the heavyweight title i just don't see ngannou fighting Goltsov.
Yaroslav is gone he just beat curtis Millender at a cage fury card and is 99% fighting in the UFC next.
AJ might be scheduled to fight usman next, since Hughes is getting a gimme at the Ireland rcard of the year and Mansour and Collgan are fighting each other in paris and tofiq might be gone last two fights in Rizn and pulled out last time he was schedualed for bellator.
Nemkov's contract was up and from what i understand fought Johnson on a one fight deal, He should just go to the UFC at this point instead of having four Fedor heavyweights in the PFL but since fedor i can see him doing the rumored Rizn Grand Prix even though that tourney could be ass even by heavyweight standards unless they sign bader to , KSW loans the De Fries and someone othe better than average heavy, and BKFC loans them Rothwell.
ngannou more likely than not is going to box Wilder at this point though I think most of us would prefer he sits out the rest of his contract and appears at Jones vs aspinell and challenge the winner but good luck on that happening.

'If you dont like what i like, i dont like you' thread. How old are you ts?
Ps mma is hella gay now, all of it.
