I think hes gonna have to stay at 185 so maybe doug marshall
Da bombers at it again
Wand is still in the UFC cool your jets.
Ariel Helwani Twitter - "Dana White just told me Wanderlei is still a UFC fighter. "I said he was done for (the) July 5th (card) and NSAC would decide his fate.""
There was a quote that Silva is done in the UFC
Nah it was misreported Dana just said he was done for the July card. Still a UFC fighter. Will probably just face a suspension from the NSAC.
oh ok. My fault for for believing UG as a source
No problem it was literally just corrected by ariel/Dana like 10-15 minutes ago. At first like you said it was being reported he was done with the UFC altogether, I'm sure most people haven't seen the correction.
Tito at 205.
lol sorry boys Wand is still in the UFC
Ufc 175 Sonnen vs Vitor vs Silva
Tito then Rampage. I'd also like to she him fight Schelemko (probably spelled that wrong)... I'd make for an entertaining fight, both guys throw down.
Assuming Wand is actually out of the UFC... it seems like every 5 minutes someone posts a new things saying he's out or he's in or whatever...
Ariel Helwani @arielhelwani
In a weird way, now that I have had a little time to think it over I think this could actually work out well for Wand and Bellator...
Wand is getting old and his career wasn't really going anywhere in the UFC. He could go to Bellator and switch from being a small fish in a big pond to a big fish in a small pond, headline events become champ, etc.
Tito first. It's a winnable fight for both men with a built in history. if he wins, then give him Rampage.
2 big money fights there for Bellator.
Last 2 posters should probably read the thread.
The misinterpreting of Dana's quotes make sense since he's in Germany right now so there could be something getting lost in translation if he's being asked these questions by reporters where english isn't their first language.
Cool your jets? I believe the proper expression is "calm your titts dude."
I wish Wand really was "done" in the UFC. Believe it or not, I'd rather tune in to Spike to see him on some Bellator cards. If he stayed at MW, I'd like to see him fight some young, up and coming fighters in the tourney, rather than see him fight Chael, when both guys are well past their prime, and we know it would turn into nothing but Chael attempting take down after take down.
If Wand doesn't work things out in the long run with the UFC, and Bellator also doesn't become an option, then I hope the Stann fight is his final one, seemed like an appropriate way to go out, winning by KO in Japan.
Probably not happening, but Schlemenko.
He's not going to Bellator.
