For once I'm gonna ask a serious question...

If u saw a young kid being attacked in a park by a dog like a rotweiller what the feck would u do?? Of course ud have to try to save it somehow. But what would be the best form of attack?

If u didnt have a weapon like an iron bar is there anway u could stop it.

Have any of u done something like this or seen something like this..

U never know it might be useful to know some day.

not like anyone carries a breaking stick....but if a dog has a lock one someone and won't budge....get something strong in the shape of a bar and slide it through the back part of his mouth and then turn it so the slighlty pries the mouth open

I don't see this workin too well shooto.

I was thinking maybe a kick to the bollox from behind or a good roundhouse to the ribs. But that might just aggravate the fecker.

I think u seriously need to get ur hands on a weapon maybe...

you can pick the kid up. i don't see the dog hanging on for too long suspended in the air. of course this could aggravate the bite wounds on the kid.

LOL... yeah perhaps u guys are right. This one time, my dog attacked me and got a hold of my hand. I punched his face and he let go. Then, we went after me again, but i went for a double and took him down. He put me in his guard, but i passed it quite easily, so i took side mount. I went for an armbar, but he defended it quite well. The sucka left his back leg open so i took it and applied a kneebar. He tapped. What a fight. That dog gave it all he could. I still love him.

I read somewhere one time that ralph gracie choked out a pitbull, hence his name.

That sounds like bollox to me. Have u ever tried to hold a dog down. They just go apeshit.

Plus with the neck on a rottie or pitbull it would be hard to apply it.

Kick it very hard in the ribs like your kicking a football. This is will break it's ribs. Or you can gouge its eyes out.:)

Groundfighting a 160 lbs rotweiller or pitbull might not be a good idea.

    umm
all ya do is tackle the dog but be prepared to be biten... if its not trained it will bite and either bite once and run away after youve attacked or if its trained it will re bite in a different spot... just lay all your weight on top of it and dig your finger into its eye

if the dog is busy attacking the kid, you may be able to get behind or above the dog and sink in a rear naked choke. but you need to hold it tight because dogs don't have much neck.

    Eye gouge works well.

Depends on how the child was being attacked. If the dog has his/her jaws locked already, you need to either knock out or kill the dog, and quickly. If you're a larger person, sit on the dog, and go for the choke. Or, if you have one handy, knife the pooch. I don't mean to sound harsh, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. If the dog is still in the phase of trying to get a good hold, then tackle it to get it's attention. Trust me, all the dog's attention will be on you after this. Either way, the child is no longer being attacked, and that was the goal.

First, try to kick the dog as hard as you can- try to shock it. If that dosen't work, tackle the dog and try to pin it to the ground while the kid runs away.
