And that's besides the fact, the card is actually pretty good with some good fighters on there.

Quality of threads are aweful today. I can bet the house the fight will be entertaing as fck and heaven forbid a formidable contender comes out of this fight. Your delirious man, Thompson and Thatch are great fighters still young in their careers.

It's always weird that people want new stars but don't want to put them in the position to get the most exposure possible so they could potentially become new stars.

True bruh, sucks they have to fight each other to get to the upper echelons but both are more than capable of making waves in the next level. Can't wait to see these guys fight again a few years down the road. Sick fight and awesome prospects

It's not the strongest card in the world, but Thatch / Thompson should be good and give the winner some good exposure. Holloway and Miller should be a good action fight. Hell, Holloway has finished 4 straight since losing to McGregor in Conor's only fight to go the distance. Magny and Kunimoto have won 5 & 7 straight, respectively. The rest of the card is littered with prospect vs prospect or prospect vs gatekeeper.
I like that sometimes the UFC depends on some younger guys to step up and make a name for themselves on these less significant cards. Not every card is for the casuals. But the ones that do watch will at least be subjected to some new faces that might catch their eye with something exciting.

It does't have the star power that Bader-Davis had, but honestly the matchup stylistically, and the talent of both fighters is going to really fun IMO.

Because their elbows are to pointy. Also TS has a restriction order forbidding him to go nearer then 100 feet to any woman aged between 10 and 70.

This is what Fight Nights should be. A place for the UFC to showcase their up and coming talent. These guys would be on the undercard making $8K to show, but headline a free card they'll make more both to show and from their sponsors.
People bitch and moan constantly about fighters not getting paid, but when fighters are given a chance to make more money and get better exposure, which leads to more money, the fans show their true colors, they don't give a crap what these fighters make they just want historic PPV fights for free.
