I bet he could've caught Royce
Bare Knuckle Tyson woulda FUCKED some dudes up
Tyson wouldve ko’d royce easily.
Whoa did my phone turn into a time machine?
He would win by default. Everyone else would mysteriously get "injured" and drop out.
Tyson would have murdered Royce, EASY.
Too quick, explosive and powerful
Yer just give him one boxing glove so he has his other hand to hold Hoyce back
What could go wrong
He'd of battered anyone who tried to stand with him back then imo!
But what if a wrestler simply explosively shot in with a take down at teh start of round one?
Tyson was an animal.
He would've ran through the tournament
yeah a wrestler would be an Issue
Were there any wrestlers in UFC 1 tho? I don't even remember
Mike Tyson is 5’10.... certified manlet.
Even in his prime Tyson couldn’t lay a finger on the average sherdogger
Tyson is probably the most overrated sports combat athlete of all time. Especially with clueless MMA fans. The way Sherdog talks about him you would think he was Boxings GOAT, and not a guy who's best wins are an old Holmes coming out of retirement and LHW Spinks
Then again Royce was no Tyson of MMA...
If we are going by this rules maybe a 6 foot 5 plus BJJ guy that weighs similar to Tyson would have probably get the job done.
Or maybe some 6 foot 5 plus wrestler.
Lol I thought this thread said “Tyron” and I was like “no shit Woodley would win, what an odd thread”.
Here's a great YT channel for that era of boxing:
Calling him overrated Is a little ridiculous
Tyson's best was fleeting and he was never the same after Prison. His form and ability to keep It together also slowly began to fade when Cus D'amato died
When he was on though, he was one of the scariest HW boxers ever. There's no question.
Max would fuck up prime Gracie, let alone Woodley.
No he was no goat but when he was young and pre Douglas he was one of the most ferocious, explosive fighters to walk the earth. He was a very flawed individual who destroyed his own career though.
Separate names with a comma.
