I would totally be okay with them removing the 125 division but if they are going to keep it they have to do something with DJ. The division is boring enough they don't need the champ continue to destroy guys no one has ever heard of. They should have booked a rematch between DJ and Cruz to breath some life into 2 divisions that should not exist in the UFC.

I didn't see the report of Cruz out for 18 months

He would be too small for the division, he's already the shortest in his own division.

Yes that would be nice but unfortunately DJ himself sausage has no intentions of moving up anytime soon.

Wow this again...

Ok... DJ doesn't have to do anything to please you, ok? He can fight as much as he wants at Flyweight and continue to dominate... You do realize that he isn't even as dominant of a champion as Anderson Silva was (pre-chael) as GSP was (pre-Hendricks) and as Ronda was (pre-Holm). And JBJ with 2 more wins, will be far more dominant too...

He still can fight: Reis, Pettis, Scoggins, Ngyun, Formiga, Benavidez again, etc. etc. he can rack up as many wins as he can so long as he can make weight. Just like everyone else who was "unbeatable" he will lose, and suddenly the weight-class will become interesting (As it did in all the cases I just named)... Shit, if Faber loses to Cruz and decides to drop some muscle, he could prolly out-wrestle DJ and win, and if Dodson hadn't had the knee surgery, he could have won.. The division should exist, and these complaints are bullshit...

I'm done

You're DJ.

Door # 1: Continue doing what you are doing and break all of GSPs, Andersons, Jones records in the UFC. Set new records for every best catagory. (# of wins in a row, etc) Do so in dominant fashion knowing that you are by far the best in this weight class.

Door # 2: Move up in weight and take the chance of losing to a bigger opponent when people relatively don't really care so much about you in the first place, thereby relinquishing all chances of breaking records and for what.. so you can win another title though you already have one with many defenses..

If theres a time not to move up that time is now ... Demetrious has all the right to try to beat Anderson´s record.
And why are fans pushing for Demetrious to move up but when it comes to Jones they pretend like nothings happening ?

He should just stay down there and dominate everyone in the division that I couldn't possibly care less about.

When he breaks all of the records we'll just put an asterisk next to them so we all know they don't really count since they've been accomplished in an underdeveloped manlet dvision.

Jones is entertaining where he currently is.

He doesnt want to move up, he made that clear, wants to keep defending his belt at flyweight. I dont blame him, why go up and lose. better to keep fighting prelim fighters who arent ready for a title shot and winning.

right. the perfect time to move up is right before you are about to break the record for most title defenses.

If you don't think Mighty Mouse is entertaining, you're not a fight fan. He's one of the most (if the not most) complete fighters in the world.

That's ludicrous, it's not like he's competed and had success there in the past. That's asking too much.
