If the UFC was at the same status as it is now in 96 - Macho Man / Hogan would sign to the UFC?

Now that CM punk has signed to the UFC and it also appears that Ryback is about to sign as well.

If the UFC had the same name a prestige back in the mid to late 90's would have the Macho Man and Hollywood hogan have signed as well?

Both were physical specimens and HARD AS NAILS.

Do you think that there would be more cross overs?

We had enough with CM punk example.
Havent you seen how thats been turning out?

What makes you think it would have been any different with any other old, fake fighter?

Lol, 10 and 10 vs making millions during the beginning of the Monday Night Wars. Time to logout, op.

Savage was 44 and Hogan was 43 in 1996.

No way, those guys were so doped up on pain killers and roids and booze there'd be no way they could fight professionally.

Impressive enough that they were able to keep it together for even"fake" fighting.

    Guessing the source is FRB......

Better chance of Batista getting signed than Ryback which by the way is nonexistent either way.

They could never pass a steroid test.

And I don't know that they ever had an interest in fighting. CM Punk has always been a Jiu Jitsu fan and had an interest in the sport.
