If Stipe Miocic beats Jon Jones, where would you rank him among the greatest MMA fighters of all-time?

Jones peaked in 2015 so beating him in almost 2025 is still a great win but not the same as beating the guy who headkicked DC 10 years ago. I'm cheering for this to happen but not because it will skyrocket Stipe's all time ranking.

It would be fucking funny. After all of this, Stipe comes out of hiding, beats the GOAT and fucks off to his normal life once again. Aspinall, Dana, Jones, Stipe haters... just a torrent of saltiness.

That said, I think he would get enticed to come back once again. Against Aspinall or whoever.

Who knows what to expect from this fight. So many uncertain variables and unknowns. Jones has spent one minute in the cage in the last 5 years. Stipe is 41 and hasn't fought in nearly 4 years after being brutally KOd.

Would be a great accomplishment, but as other posters are saying, I don't think a win over either of these guys in 2024/2025 is a huge achievement, Stipe especially.

People were praising Jones like crazy for his win over Gane, and they should, but that was only a 3-minute fight. Jones hasn't really looked good since his 2nd fight with DC. I think after that, he lost some motivation to fight guys like Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, etc. And add a bunch of years to it, he's definitely far removed from his prime at 37

I'm not sure I agree. JBJ has taken some damage, but Stipe has been KO'd clean by Struve, DC and Francis, not to mention a war with JDS in the first fight (that I actually think he won)

What the hell are u talking about??? Stipe has been slept 3 times and was in some wars, one crazy one with JDS(go back and watch that one). Stipe is 42 and hasn't fought in almost 4 years. I get ur trying to have a different take from everyone, but this is just kinda ridiculous. Jones has been rocked maybe 4-5 times in his entire career, and he gathered himself very quickly and still beat everyone. Also just for the record I absolutely hate Jones, i just recognize and except the fact that he's never gonna lose and is and will probably always be the GOAT
