There's no spectrum. Unless you're born with a deformity or a severe hormone disorder that luckily didn't result in deformity, you're in one of two spot: male or female.

There's no 'Xan, Xer, It, Quim, Quoman,' destination on the rainbow. If you're a man who wants to bang dudes, wear dresses and make up, you can still be a man. We'll just call you "a homosexual man" in the same way we'll call a tall man, a "tall man".

If a girl wants to cut her hair short and excel at sports, she can still be called a girl while doing so. It doesn't misrepresent what she is if she was born with a vagina.
