Why should the end of a round be a way to escape?

Why not a single 30 minute round? And an electric fence. And an alligator moat.

So if the round ends in a submission attempt, to they return to the submission in the next round?

Better off just going with Pride rounds.

Motorcycles jumping over the octagon between rounds.

Fine...

But only if we also adopt the following:

- If a wrestler keeps shooting spam Takedowns, soccer kicks to the head, knees, and stomps should be allowed.

Pride rules bruh, gotta give leeway to the strikers too m8... It's only fair.

If you can't finish a submission in 5 minutes you shouldn't get rewarded.

Imagine a GSP fight with this rule and you'll see why it's a bad idea.

What if the round ends in a triangle choke attempt... does the next round start in the exact position?

Your idea sounds dumb is what I'm saying.

Lol people would be diving for shitty subs to just start in a good position next round.

If the fighter was rocked at the end of the round, his opponent should get a free shot just before the next round begins.

1st round starts standing

2nd round starts back to back in seated position.

3rd round starts both guys face down top and tail.

4th round starts with their heads buried between their legs facing their corner.

5th round starts without attire on. Fighters must get ready in the cage then begin.

Or what if the round ends with one guy KO'ed and he's getting beat on but is saved by the bell...

Do they knock the fighter out again when the round starts so it's back to where it was?

They should be wearing suits of armor and brandishing medieval weapons.
