Lets see Strikeforce, K-1, Dream and UFC champion with wins in his career over guys like JDS, Arlovski, Roy Nelson, Struve, Frank Mir, Lesnar, Werdum, Hunt, Kharitonov, Belfortx2 and Igor plus as you said potential defenses against guys like Cain. Kinda hard to argue.

Not that I'd support that idea, but if that would happen there would be threads to pop up that would suggest this is the case as we've seen with Cain, JDS, and Werdum respectively during their HW title runs. To the elder fans Fedor is the HW GOAT without doubt, to the newer generation they just don't get it and will look to grow a GOAT from within Zuffa ranks, while this lacks credibility to some, others just can't ever understand what Pride and Fedor was all about.

Not the GOAT, even if he happens to beat Cain and Werdum next.
