Say what you will about Woodley - that he's a race baiter, complains too much, chases money fights, is boring to watch at times - but he DID win the championship and then defend it three times in a 12 month period. That's more than some of the champions around him (i.e. Conor McGregor, Michael Bisping) were willing to do. So, you think he's the kind of cat who would also step in on short notice to defend his title if either RDA or Covington pull out with an injury?

Money will make that man sign. Nothing more, nothing less.

No, because he's said multiple times that he won't be fully recovered from his shoulder surgery and ready to fight until July. I can't see him taking a short notice fight before that.

No. According to him, he deserves a money fight or a smaller opponent. Hopefully the same person.

He's said he's ready to go now, he just wants to wait till July.

As if he is going to risk his belt with a shortened camp or no camp.
Champs hold all the cards. It’s the challengers that take fights on short notice

I highly doubt T-wood steps in on short notice. I mean, you've seen how cautious he is in the octagon when defending his belt, right? That being said, I really hope RDA doesn't get hurt, because then we will have to hear Colby bitch and moan about how Woodley is afraid to fight him, etc. etc. (as well as the usual filthy animal BS if RDA were to pull out)
