Would you like to see him rematch Shogun? Its a fight i think would be exciting and make sense at that point.

And who would you favor at this point in their respective careers?

Hard to say who i would favor since i haven't seen Rampage fight Glover yet, but based on his past 3-4 fights i would have to favor Shogun in that one. I think Rua would win a decision if it was 3 rounds(in an exciting affair), or get the tko if it was a 5 rounder.

I like both and think it would be a great one for the fans.

(I am assuming/hoping Rampages fight with Glover won't actually be his last fight in the UFC.)

Yes, Rampage should probably be fighting Shogun anyways and Gustafsson should be fighting Glover but they'll meet soon enough

Definitely. Rampage will most likely resign with the UFC if he wins and he has said countless times that this is the fight he wants the most. I assume Shogun would be down as well, it's a solid co-main for any card.

I can honestly see this fight going either way.

Sure why not. These two should only be put in exciting non title eliminator fights from now on.

Me too. I think i would favor Rua, But Rampage might go out and knock Glover the fuck out who knows.

Plus he looked fine against Hammil imo, and wasn't right against Bader.

Shogun rematch would be best but if this is his last fight in the UFC, I'd love to see him fight King Mo in Bellator.

Not if. Rampage will beat him.

This is literally the best possible match up for the guy.

Oh, he would beat Shogun too since the latter's zombie style will allow Rampage to move as slow as he wants lol ( I'm talking about now, of course)

Those guys still have a beef? i thought i heard they squashed it and are friends now. Not sure.

Good fight though.

I forgot that they made up, but either way it's a fun fight. They'd probably sell it well. And it's probably Rampage's best bet at fighting a highly ranked opponent for a big pay day outside of the UFC.

I agree i would like either fight. Big opportunity for Mo.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the loser of that fight to face Shogun since he's technically also coming of a loss?

Not really since a rampage win does not warrant a title shot, and shogun is still a top name within the LHW division.

Shogun is a top 5 lhw. Actually he is probably #6 after his last loss. I still have him above Davis.

Rampage is ranked #10 at best at lhw, Glover is outside the top 10..

Still doesn't make sense IMO. The winner of that fight should possibly get a No. 1 contender fight. I mean assuming the winner of the Hendo/Machida fight will get the next shot at Jones, wouldn't it make more sense to put the winner of Glover/Rampage against Gustafsson, and the loser Shogun?

No way in hell should the winner or Rampage/Glover get a #1 contender fight. Both would need at least 2 more wins imo.

But hey people with losses are getting title shots now so who knows.

I disagree.

Gus should not be fighting people who are ranked much lower than him when he basically deserves a title shot now.

In fact Gus, Hendo, Machida, Shogun and Davis are all above Glover and Rampage. So why on earth should they get a no.1 contender match?

Shogun is a huge name, and he would definitely help them move up the rankings, without screwing the other contenders in the already shallow division..
