If Pettis loses to this BJJ guy, will he go Bellator with his lil bro?

Diego Ferreira is a relatively unknown name. If Pettis loses to him, I have a feeling Pettis could end up in Bellator with his brother.

Vegas has Pettis as a 2:1 underdog so they’re expecting him to lose.

Pettis Sr. is hit and miss. Not really an interesting draw with another loss. Agreed OP.

I could see UFC letting Anthony go the BJ Penn route. Keep on losing and keep getting booked to fight anyways

Considering Pettis still has name value, has faced tough competition, and 4 of his last 5 got FOTN/POTN I'd say his job is safe for a while.

Also Ferreira is hitting his stride even though he's a bit older. Losing to him wouldn't be the end of the world.

Calling CDF "this bjj guy" is a bit of a short sighted understatement. And no, Pettis won't go to bellator after his next loss.

Pettis isn't going to lose to this scrub regardless of the odds.

Two great strikers, hell yea itd be entertaining.

But it wouldn't be that close, MVP is on an Anderson Silva like run while Pettis is slowing down.

He has name value and a great way to hype up some of the lower-ranked opponents which is exactly what the UFC is trying to do with Diego Ferreira, who other than being some BJJ guy, is on paper a stylistic nightmare for Pettis (high output pressure fighter).

Shut up Big John. No one else thinks MVP is on a Silva run other than you.

Pettis is gonna win this fight. He's alternated wins and losses since forever (2016).

MVP is garbage. He fights nobodies except Lima who destroyed him.
